Last Updated: March 10, 2026
Welcome to DrByVR ("we", "our", or "us"). DrByVR is a virtual reality platform designed to support healthcare professionals in conducting guided exposure therapy sessions for patients with phobias.
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be handled when using the DrByVR VR application and related services (collectively referred to as the "Service").
DrByVR is designed so that patients do not create accounts themselves. Instead, accounts are created and managed by authorized healthcare professionals through a secure management dashboard.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
DrByVR is designed to minimize data collection. The VR application itself does not directly collect personal information from users.
2.1 User Identification
To allow patients to access therapy sessions, the system uses a unique User ID created by a healthcare professional through the DrByVR dashboard.
The VR application only uses this User ID to:
- Allow a patient to log in
- Load the therapy sessions assigned to that patient
The VR application does not require users to provide personal details such as email addresses, phone numbers, or names.
2.2 Dashboard Managed Information
Healthcare professionals using the DrByVR dashboard may create and manage patient profiles for therapy purposes. These profiles may include therapy-related information such as:
- Internal patient identifier
- Phobia classification
- Assigned therapy sessions
- Therapy progress information
This information is managed by the healthcare professional or organization responsible for the therapy program.
2.3 Technical and Device Information
Like most digital services, limited technical information may be automatically generated by the system to ensure the service operates correctly. This may include:
- Device type

This information is used only for system functionality, troubleshooting, and improving service reliability.

4. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the platform.
Security measures may include:
- Secure HTTPS communication
- Encrypted data transmission
- Access control for dashboard users

While we strive to protect information, no system connected to the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
